I'm kinda inclined to agree with you Truth. I've always felt that Atlantis was very much a paradise of sorts.
And sorry, not to insult any Irish out there (that includes you Colin Ferrell!) but I can't see Ireland being an "Advanced Civilization" at any period in time!
